train don't stop there anymore

Designed by famed Omaha architect Thomas Rodgers Kimball and opened on July 4, 1898, in time for the Trans Mississippi Exposition, the Burlington Northern train station was a glittering international showcase that attracted visitors to Omaha from around the world.

Today, it is a broken down, dilapidated and abandoned structure.

"I used to be the main express
All steam and whistles heading west
Picking up my pain from door to door
Riding on the storyline
Furnace burning overtime
But this train don't stop,
This train don't stop,
This train don't stop there anymore"
